Book Review 3: Samuel Smiles' Self Help - Steve Shipside

Samuel Smiles' Self Help
Author: Steve Shipside

Samuel Smiles was an author of the Victorian era (1812 to 1904) who was famous for the self-help book simply entitled "Self-Help". In today's term, he would be what we call a motivation guru.

In 1859, "Smiles' Self-Help" sold over 20,000 copies in the first year, itself. "Self-Help" was the essential Bible of mid-Victorian liberalism.

Steve Shipside interpreted this version into today's context to help avoid debt, key to happiness, learning from failure and how to achieve goals.
